Note to renters:
(car rental – driver included) car reservation procedure:
1. Fax or email us, stating the date you need the car, required model, specific time and venue of getting in the car, cell phone number of contact person, general itinerary, telephone and fax number of your company.
2. Once we receive your fax or email, we will fax/email back a car rental confirmation letter (contract), confirming details of your car rental, price and fees included (driver fee, petrol, vehicle insurance) and fees not included (road & bridge toll, parking fee and accommodation for the driver).
3. The two parties shall sign and chop for confirmation.

(Without driver) car rental only:
I. For renters with Shanghai residency:
1. ID, driver’s license, and original copy of the book of registered permanent residence shall be provided.

II. For renters without Shanghai residency:
1. Original copy of ID and driver’s license shall be provided, together with deposit of no less than the value of the rented car.
2. A person with Shanghai residency should provide guarantee, and the guarantor should provide his/her ID, driver’s license, and original copy of the book of registered permanent residence.
III. For renters who are government administrative department and enterprises:
1. Duplicate of business license, ID of legal representative and official chop shall be provided.
2. ID of the driver and original copy of driver’s license shall be provided.
IV. For renters who are Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan compatriots, and foreigners:
1. Original copy of hometown-returning certificate or passport, residence permit of foreigners, and Chinese driver’s license to be provided.
2. A person with Shanghai residency should provide guarantee, and the guarantor should provide his/her ID, driver’s license, and original copy of the book of registered permanent residence.
V. For renters who are foreign Companies in China:
1. Tax registration certificate of foreign countries (regions), original copy of chief representative certificate and the contract chop of the company shall be provided.
2. The person who rents a car for the company should provide valid passport or ID and original copy of Chinese driver’s license.
VI. Shanghai office or representative office of foreign companies:
1. Permanent representative office registration certificate of foreign countries (regions), original copy of chief representative certificate and the contract chop of the company shall be provided.
2. The person who rents a car for the company should provide valid passport or ID and original copy of Chinese driver’s license.
Note:
1. Down payment of no more than RMB 30,000 should be paid in accordance with the cars to be rented.
